Project Description:

This is a new style of furniture called the Imagination Table.

The top can be removed to reveal lego plates with 2 side pockets, with over 2,700 cubic inches of storage space for lego pieces. Additionally the center plate can be flipped over to reveal a chess/checker/reversi game board too.

Now when you tell your kids to put the Lego's away they can - no more stepping on a piece in the middle of the night!

The Imagination Table is a great addition for dual purpose spaces that are also used for more formal non kid entertaining, since unless you tell anyone - it's just a quality coffee table.

Each table is made with over 60% of reclaimed wood and a portion of your purchase price goes to the Magical Moon Farm in Marshfield, MA to help kids with cancer.

Marine White Bottom Paint was used to allow of a durable finish that can handle kids wear and tear.

Finish:

Tung Oil:	Solid Maple Top is infused with Tung oil giving it a rich luster.
Polycrylic:	We then use Polycrylic to seal the natural wood because it is less toxic than more traditional sealers such as polyurethane.

Best thing about the Imagination Table is when you tell your kids to clean up - all the legos can quickly be put into the 2 large side pockets - thereby avoiding the 2 am fear of stepping on a lego !
